Properties
Fast drying speed, fast growth of hardness, high hardness, good
initial water resistance, good gloss and salt spray resistance.
Excellent shear stability, helps the pigment wetting, can directly
participate in the grinding of the color paste, it is recommended
to add a small amount of high boiling point solvents such as
ethylene glycol butyl ethe* during grinding to increase the
stability of the system
It is recommended to use about 1 times the amount of water to
dilute the resin, and then it can be diluted with water
indefinitely; if the resin is diluted with more than 1.5 times of
water at one time, compatibility problems are likely to occur.
The pH value of the system is stable at 8.5-9.5, and it will settle
and layer under acidic conditions, so pay special attention when
adding acidic pigments.
Application
This is mainly used for anti-corrosion and rust prevention and
decoration of metal surfaces, including auto parts, frame and
axles, gearboxes, brake pads, drive shafts, vehicle chassis parts,
motors, steel structures, steel cylinders, water pumps, engineering
machinery, hardware tools , Containers, railway locomotives,
agricultural machinery, elevator parts, petroleum pipelines,
transformers, radiators, valves and other metal products such as
primer, topcoat and primer and top coat all-in-one paint.
Instructions:
- When preparing air-drying paint, add a drier (the company has a
matching drier 3305, adding 2-6% of the resin amount) to accelerate
the oxidation crosslinking.
- Add the drier to WL-186 resin and mix, then add water to dilute, so
that better compatibility and gloss can be achieved (the solvent
based drier can be diluted with butanol butyl ethe* and other
alcohol ethe* solvents before adding to WL-186).
- The surface drying time of the paint film is about 20 minutes, and
the hard drying time is about 3 hours, and the paint film has good
strength after 10 hours.
- It can be used in combination with WL-186 and other similar resins,
and it can also be used in combination with self-drying emulsions
or water-based thermoplastic resins to solve the problems of gloss,
adhesion and insufficient salt spray resistance of emulsion
products.
Storage
200Kg/drum packaging.
Store in a cool and ventilated place, keep the container tightly,
storage temperature is 0-40 ℃, shelf life is 12 months.
