Waterborne Acrylic Modified Saturated Polyester Resin
Water based saturated polyester resin is used in a wide range of
industrial applications, such as coil coating, can coating and
other industrial OEM baking applications. It can be crosslinked
with conventional melamine resins, urea formaldehyde resins or
blocked isocyanate resins designed for water based systems. It is
already neutralized, and ready to use. Formulation is easy. It has
excellent result for primer, top coat and clear varnish

3, Product Properties:
Good hardness (>4H), high gloss;
Good flexibility;
Good solvent resistance;
Low temperature fast cross-linking (110℃. 20minutes);
Excellent shear stability, can be grinded with dispersions
directly.
4, Instructions:
WL-185 can be diluted with water after neutralization by
N,N-dimethyl ethanolamine the amount of which is about 4-5%of
WL-185.It has tocombine waterborne amino resin to make baking
coating. The suggested amount is about 20-30% of WL-185 by weight.
The baking temperatureis above 120℃. The baking conditions and film
properties are related with the amino resins used. Right amount of
waterborne acidic catalysts canbe added when using methyl
etherified amino resin(recommended adding amount is 0.5-1% of
WL-185), which can accelerate solidifying.
PH value of the coating system can always be adjusted with organic
amine or ammonia. Viscosity of the dispersion will increase as the
PH valueincreases. The resin can help to wet pigments, so wetting
agent may reduce.
5, Storage:
It is suggested that the product should be stored in a cool and dry
weak alkaline place. The quality guarantee period is 6 months, and
the expiredproducts can still be used after passing the
inspections.

Amino-baking top coatings.
