Water Based Acrylic Modified Alkyd Resin WL-380

Introduction
Water based acrylic modified alkyd resin, is used for manufacturing
water based amino baking paint.
Property
Composition: water based acrylic modified alkyd resin, cosolvent,
neutralizer
Appearance: brown -yellow transparent viscous liquid
Non volatile: 77±2%
PH value:7.0-9.0
Viscosity(25℃): ≥5000mpa.s (rotational viscometer)
Feature
Excellent decorative effect.
Excellent shear stability, helps to wet pigments, directly
participate in the grinding of pigment paste.
It is stable under weak alkaline condition, and will settle into
layers under acidic condition, pay attention to adjust the PH value
when adding acid pigments.
It is recommended to use deionized water for dilution, and the PH
value of the system should be noted during dilution.
The viscosity of aqueous dispersion will increase with the increase
of PH value.
Application
It is mainly used for decoration and protection of steel belt,
automobile fuel tank, steel barrel, hardware, handcart, bicycle,
etc.
Usage
The recommended crosslinking agent is methyl etherified melamine
formaldehyde resin.
Amino resin: WL-380=1:10-1:2(according to solid resin ratio)
Adding proper amount of drier and water-borne acid catalyst (our
company has supporting drier product ) can accelerate the curing.
Baking conditions and film properties are related to the type and
amount of amino resin used.
