Water Based Epoxy Curing Agents
Our water based Epoxy Curing Agents are designed for heavy-duty
corrosion resistance comparable to solvent-based epoxy systems, and
with several advantages: low VOC, low odor and fast dry properties.
It can be used with both liquid epoxy resins and waterborne solid
epoxy resin dispersions for the formulation of primers and
direct-tometal applications. It offers long pot life, excellent
adhesion, and good impact resistance. It can also be formulated for
a visible end-of-pot life.
Coatings based on these products provide superior corrosion
protection even at thin film thickness with excellent adhesion to
various types substrates such as blasted and cold rolled steel,
galvanized steel, aluminum, and concrete. These coatings can be
quickly recoated with typical topcoat technologies such as acrylics
and polyurethanes in room temperature or baked cure applications.
The development of good anticorrosion properties after short cure
cycles enables fast productivity and cost savings.
Applications:
Used with waterborne epoxy emulsion, it can make waterborne epoxy
floor paint, railway, haulage motor, bridge, container paint,
waterborne epoxy anti-corrosive paint and home finish, metal paint.
