    WQ -P509 is a polypropylene wax powder with high melting point, high hardness, good particle shape, suitable for solsol-based ink coatings, powder coatings and other fields, to help matting, and improve scratch resistance, resistance to adhesion at higher temperatures.
    Added to the paint surface can play a role in anti-slip. The lower density of the WQ P509 helps to improve the precipitation of silica matting agents in coating applications.
    Can be used for powder coating after adding, improve the hardness of powder coating, increase fluidity.
    Can be used for leather finishing, play a scorch effect.

    Add amount and use method
    In different systems, the amount of wax powder added is generally between 0.5-3%.
    It can usually be directly dispersed in solvent-based coatings and inks by means of high- speed stirring.
    It can be added by various grinding machines and high shear dispersion equipment, and the grinding temperature should be controlled when using the grinding machine.
    It can be pre-dispersed to prepare a wax slurry with a wax powder concentration of 20-30%, which can be added to the system when needed, so as to reduce the dispersion time of the wax powder.
